Warranty Policy

Warranty terms for The Rank One products purchased through authorised channels.

  1. Proof of purchase is a pre‑requisite to claim warranty.
  2. Repair or replacement will be carried out through the company’s service centre or its authorised service centre only.
  3. For units installed beyond the municipal limits of the authorised service centre, all expenses incurred in collection and servicing will be borne by the customer.
  4. Warranty continues for the unexpired period after repairs/replacement; repair time is not excluded from the warranty period.
  5. The company reserves the right to retain any replaced parts.
  6. Warranty continues after inspection by the service centre; visiting charges may be applicable for inspection.
  7. Paid installation or demo is available for all models and must be availed within 6 months from the date of purchase.
  8. The company’s warranty obligation is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts in accordance with this policy.
  9. In case of unavailable spares, the company’s depreciation rules will apply as a commercial solution.
  10. Accessories may not be included as part of repaired or replaced items unless specifically stated.
  11. All disputes under this warranty are subject to Delhi jurisdiction.
  12. The service centre will determine whether repairs will be conducted on‑site or at the service centre.
  13. Extended warranty must be registered within 2 weeks of purchase, where applicable.
  14. Replaced parts will be functionally operative parts (new, refurbished, or reconditioned).
  15. Promotional or extended warranties are subject to model‑specific details as communicated at the time of offer.
  16. FOC (Free of Cost) / Promotional / Gifted items will be treated as part of warranty as per offer terms.

Warranty Exclusions

  1. Product not purchased from an authorised SIV / The Rank One branch or reseller.
  2. Product not used as per the instruction manual or recommended usage conditions.
  3. Defects caused by improper use, mishandling, or negligence.
  4. Warranty is void if the product fails under specific conditions like water damage, liquid ingress, or similar environmental damage.
  5. Any unauthorised modifications or alterations to circuitry or software/firmware.
  6. Site conditions not conforming to the product’s specified operating standards.
  7. Serial number removed, obliterated, or altered.
  8. Damage due to lightning, abnormal voltage, power surges, or other acts of God.
  9. Damage caused by pests or insects.
  10. The company is not liable for third‑party claims, lost data, or economic losses related to the product’s use.
  11. Warranty does not cover third‑party software, apps, or content installed on the device.
  12. Normal wear and tear (including cosmetic damage, scratches, etc.) is not covered.
  13. Damage arising from unauthorised accessories, peripherals, or software.
  14. Battery damage due to short‑circuiting, over‑charging, misuse, or tampering.
